I’ve experienced the darker side of dating that we don’t talk about enough - I am a survivor of sexual assault on a date. I also narrowly escaped a man who was a "perfect professional" on LinkedIn, but in reality, he was dating 10 women at once and spreading STIs without a second thought. I was only saved because a friend happened to spot him in a Facebook group and warned me just in time.I’ve also dealt with the "rejection rage" of men who, after being told "no" harassed me for weeks by creating dozens of new numbers just to bypass my blocks.I realised that our safety shouldn't depend on luck or on Facebook groups that are constantly being suspended or deleted due to GDPR. Every time a group goes down, we lose our history. We shouldn't have to start on a "clean slate" with every new date while these men get to keep their secrets.I’m building NoCreeps to be a reliable, permanent way around the drama. I want to turn our "community whispers" into a shield. It’s the tool I wish I’d had - no gatekeeping, no waiting weeks for post approvals, just the truth that keeps us safe.
